This evening I caught the following on the BBC News Channel. A Conservative supporter (missed his name) of Liam Fox was holding forth strongly in defense of his beleaguered minister.
".......Mr. Fox has been an excellent Secretary of Defense. We have nearly completed a highly successful operation in Libya without the loss of a single British life....."
Successful?
Highly unlikely in the long run.
But yes.

Are we supposed to feel proud of the fact that our leaders now order the military to yet again embark on a campaign of action that can, this time, only be described as
the risk-free slaughter of brown-skinned people.
Surely most British people recoil in horror at this obscenity....
....the fact it is carried out in the name of 'humanitarianism' is truly beyond words.
Must we not now admit that, however much we oppose this illegal war, that the RAF's bombing of Libyan cities is a horror for which WE must admit some reponsibility?
To be honest, realising what is taking place in our name, I feel very guilty that I do so little to oppose this war.
I've seen my MP about it. He knows large numbers loathe the Libyan campaign. He didn't defend it but his demeanor was one of helplessness.
What kind of a monstrous world are Cameron and the rest of these internationalists building for us?

ReplyDeleteAs a Para, 47 years ago, we spent one week, being instructed on the articles of war and our "Personal" responsibility to abide by them. We were instructed in the Nuremburg trials, and the consequences of our individual actions. We would not have permitted the current actions.
I was informed by a RAF Pilot, that in the first Gulf War, the Australian Air Force pilots refused to fly bombing missions that using "Depleted Uranium" ordnance.
The current activities of the SAS (and RAF) are a disgrace to the British army and people.

Our Government are a disgrace, our banking and financial system is a disgrace. Who is behind it all? After all, they are supposedly made up of intelligent and well educated people. There can only be one answer, the Illuminati Rothschild’s and their cohorts. No one in their right mind would allow such attacks on Libya and their citizens or create such a financial mess. Therefore there must be psychopaths behind it all with dark agendas, and there is no group more psychopathic that the Illuminati.

PJ I can understand what you mean. There was once a time when even though there was some problems amongst British & Colonial Forces ( I don't live in cloud Cuckoo land )his majesty's forces were ALWAYS RESPECTED FOR THEIR CONDUCT most of the time and were either WELCOMED or LEFT ALONE anywhere in the world. My father served in what was then Malaya and it made my blood boil to hear america's and israel's Tip Top Bitch david cameron COMPARE the old King's forces with the War Criminals of today and ATTEMPTING to make it the same thing???!!! I know many of those old Soldiers are TURNING in their graves!!!
